Our office serves the College of Medicine by leading the budgeting and financial projections, financial and ad hoc reports, while also supporting other financial and administrative functions of the college. We strive to provide timely service to our customers.
Scott, who earned a master’s degree in business administration from UF’s Warrington College of Business Administration, has held a number of key administrative roles in academic medicine across the country, including associate dean for finance and administration at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, chief financial officer and chief operating officer for the department of medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Medicine, vice president for professional revenue at University of Vermont Health and associate director for managed care contracting and financial analysis at UF COM. Scott has served as the director for the UF Health anesthesiology programs since 2013. In his role he has been instrumental in the expansion of the anesthesiology department’s clinical footprint, supported faculty and staff development pathways, modernized the department’s administrative infrastructure and expanded services to faculty, residents and staff.
Tammy received a master’s degree in health administration from the University of Central Florida and has 20 years of experience in the health care finance field, including 15 years at UF Health. She has been responsible for the development of a $1 billion annual operating budget in collaboration with 29 College of Medicine departments, the dean’s office and five research centers. In her role, she created the policies and procedures used to forecast the college’s budget and brought together key stakeholders to forge a stronger alignment between the college and medical center that resulted in the improvement in financial projections between both organizations.
